Quick identification of a senior credit risk analyst for a global insurer, based in Europe

There were 2 main problems with the candidates that the client had seen so far – firstly their lack of product knowledge and secondly their technical experience, particularly in using VBA. Through discussions with the client, it had become clear that other agencies had been targeting purely insurance houses, when in reality taking someone from an asset manager would be better suited. We also helped incorporate an Excel/VBA test into the interview stages to ensure the candidates’ skills were suitable.
