Role Summary

As a Player/Coach/Billing Manager, you will balance personal billing targets while mentoring a team of headhunters. Your role involves client portfolio development, industry networking, team management, and market growth across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a portfolio of clients through market approaches, networking, and sales presentations.
• Selling our strategic solutions (Retainers, Bundles, Subscriptions) to new clients you acquire, and ensuring long-term partnerships
• Act as a fee generating consultant, managing industry professionals, client introductions, interview processes, and deal negotiations.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a team focused on Life Sciences positions.
• Engage in industry forums and networking to identify revenue opportunities.
• Maintain client and candidate relationships, providing market intel, salary reviews, and leadership insights.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior employees and management teams, setting revenue targets and KPI structures.
• Develop and lead company sales strategies, client presentations, and negotiations.
• Oversee internal financial forecasts, new headhunting practices, and market trends.

What We Are Looking For

• Director level experience or a minimum of 3 years at AD/Managing Principal level.
• Prior management and mentoring experience of a team of at least 5 fee generating recruiters.
• Personal fee generation experience of £400,000 per year in a reputable recruitment firm.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a minimum of 5 years’ recruitment experience in the Life Science industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present in front of diverse audiences.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
