Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to building a team that represents a diversity of thought, experience and background. We don’t want to be just pumping out the usual platitudes. This is about making meaningful change to our business, and the businesses we work with.

How we get there

Our DE&I Goals

Leadership equality

We’re committed to building a global management team that reflects the racial and ethnic diversity of the communities where we work. We’ll do this by the end of 2024.

Employee diversity

A 50/50 gender balance and racial/ethnic diversity across all of JCW Group that is reflective of our local communities. We'll do this by the end of 2023.

Candidate representation

Ensuring the candidates we place are consistently diverse and ethnically representative of our clients’ local communities. We'll do this by the end of 2023.

How will we achieve this?

Our DE&I processes and actions

Diversity Council

Creation of a Diversity Council to continually measure effectiveness. Diversity Council created and ongoing.

Diverse Candidates

Our TA team is targeted against ensuring we have a diverse pipeline of candidates through specific resourcing and targeting. Ongoing TA priority.

External Partners

Partnering with specialist external suppliers to ensure ongoing best practice. In progress, currently working with Growing Happy.

Blind Shortlists

Providing all clients with the option of no-named shortlists for all vacancies. In progress.

Our CSR work

From climbing mountains to running marathons and to our annual charity auction, we’re proud to continue to support organisations that are making an impact with our dedicated fundraising efforts.

We’re proud to support the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a charity that’s taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.

Globally, close to 800,000 people die from suicide every year. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving services, provoking conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably.

Our internal employee-led communities have been created to drive our efforts across environment, wellbeing and diversity.

Environment Committee

We have established our very own Green Team to drive our environmental agenda forward. Proud to be a socially responsible business, our goal is to be a carbon neutral by 2025.

Diversity Council

We launched our Diversity Council to create a forum for people across the business to share ideas, experiences and best practice on how JCW Group can lead the way as a diverse business in our sector.

Mental Matters

Our Mental Matters team puts our commitment to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace front and centre, ensuring we are creating a truly industry-leading environment for our people.
